Expertly recorded inside a small mud church in rural eastern Uganda, this collection of songs captures a band full of joy and hope despite themes of hardship and affliction that frequently recur in their music. Building their unique sound around the akogo (an indigenous instrument known in English as the thumb piano) and beautiful vocal harmonies, The Macedonians sing for the encouragement of their Ugandan countrymen and for the enjoyment of all.
